Description
Portrait of Clive Owen
Reference- one of my favorite photos of him
It was made with Poser 6 and Photoshop 6 for postwork.
I would post this in the "Painting & Airbrushing" category like someone suggested me but, I don't think it would fit in there since the image is based on a 3D render so it is a render and photoshop postwork.

High quality 3D rendering tends to show things exactly as they are, whereas real photos, no matter how good camera is used, are never perfect. This leads to a conslusions that a simple way to improve the realism of a 3D image, or at least make it harder to seperate from an actual photo, is to decrease the accuracy of how well each pixels represents the details on the picture. I think that is exactly what we`re seeing here; this is, without a doubt, one of the most realistic 3D images I`ve ever seen. There`s one thing that puzzles me here, though; I noticed that the original image showed the details of the hair more accurately than the ones in the face. This artwork seems to do the exact opposite. Why is that?
